January 10, 2019 ~ Thursday Time: 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm ~ Special performance "An Evening of Traditional Folk & Celtic Music by Matt DeBlass " at the Abraham Staats House 
Admission will be $5 with advance reservation. ($10 at the door)

February 9, 2019 ~ Saturday, 10:30 am – 1:30 pm “Tory Jack Day" Legend has it that Jack, a slave in the Abraham Staats household, supported the patriots by spying on the British during the American Revolution.  Celebrate Black History month with a program featuring noted speaker Joe Becton , who will speak on the topic “Music of the Civil War” at 11:00 am.    The tours will end at 1:30 p.m. Admission is $10; children 12 and under are free

February 17, 2019 ~ "Middlebrook (Five Generals) Bus Tour " Hosted by Heritage Trail Association
Five historic houses that served as headquarters for American generals during the 1778-1779 Middlebrook encampment are all on this tour. The Van Horne House in Bridgewater; the Wallace House in Somerville; the Van Veghten House in Finderne; the Abraham Staats House in South Bound Brook; the Jacobus Vanderveer House  in Bedminster.   For more information and for reservations,  contact: Heritage Trail Association, P. April 13 & 14, 2019 ~ Saturday/Sunday:   Be a part of the American Revolution and mark your calendar for this year’s Battle of Bound Brook: "Living History Weekend at the Abraham Staats House"
Admission charged for entry to house tour/lecture. The grounds and street battles are free.

May 11, 2019 ~ Saturday Time: 10:00 am to 11:00 am ~ "Farming in the Millstone Valley: Past and Present – Film Showing & Discussion - Open House". Free to all   Please register on Eventbrite
Dutch farmers were the first Europeans to settle central NJ and for the next three centuries played a central role in creating the towns and communities we call home.
Featuring one of the filmmakers, Brad Fay of the Millstone Valley Preservation Coalition
After the program, stay and tour this historic house. House will close at Noon.
May 11, 2019 ~ Saturday: 7:00 pm - 9:00pm:  "NJ Paranormal Investigators Fundraiser at the Abraham Staats House" NJ Paranormal Investigators at Work! Join the Friends of Abraham Staats House and the New Jersey Paranormal Investigators (NJPI) for a night of revealing what NJPI has discovered from three paranormal investigations of this historic home. Some have said they’ve “felt something” in the house, but did the spirits cooperate and reveal themselves? NJPI investigators will present their findings at the start of the program, and after, participants will break into groups and explore with NJPI’s investigative equipment. (Equipment is limited. It would be appreciated if you would bring your own equipment if you have it.) Space is limited to 60 people.
Admission will be $20 with advance reservation. $25 at the door.

June 14, 2019 ~ Friday Time: 6:00 pm "Boy Scout Troop 42 Flag Retirement Ceremony" on the grounds of the Abraham Staats House. Free to all
Sep 14, 2019 ~ Saturday Time: 10:00 am to Noon ~ "Open House ". Free to all
October 12 & 13, 2019 ~ Saturday: 10:00 am to 5:00 pm & Sunday: Noon to 4:00 pm "Somerset County's Weekend Journey through the Past" Special activities at the Abraham Staats House include guided house tours by interpreters in period clothing, live period music performed by Thomas Harabin, and exhibits on the Middlebrook Cantonment and 18th century life. 30 historic sites in Somerset County, including the Abraham Staats House, will be open for visitors during the weekend event, for information go to http://www.co.somerset.nj.us/government/public-works/cultural-heritage/weekend-journey.

Nov 9, 2019 ~ Saturday Time: 10:00 am to 2:00 pm ~ Special Open House "Dave “Sarge” Bala ~ 18th c. Blacksmith" on the grounds of the Abraham Staats House ~ Free Program

December 6, 2019 ~ Friday: 6:00 pm ~ FASH Annual Meeting followed by a Covered Dish Dinner at the Abraham Staats House.  Business meeting first (voting on Officers and Trustees for 2019), followed by socializing, refreshments and a general nice time! (Members and Guests)
December 7, 2019 ~ Saturday: 6:30 pm:  "Candlelight Tour of the Abraham Staats House" Tours will be conducted with authentically dressed interpreters in period clothing and end with light refreshments and live music. Reservations recommended. The program lasts approximately 30 minutes.
Admission will be $10 with advance reservation. ($15 for walk-ins)

December 7, & 8, 2019 ~ Saturday/Sunday:  1:00 pm to 4:00 pm
"Holiday at the Abraham Staats House" Each room of the Abraham Staats House is uniquely and festively decorated for the holidays by community organizations and members of the Friends of Abraham Staats House.
Be sure to come and enjoy the performance by the Franklin Township HS Madrigal Singers on Saturday only at 1:00 pm.
